Two stage reducing station

A two stage reduction will provide a more stable outlet pressure even with rapidly decaying inlet pressure. Although all SAB pressure reducer inserts are pressure equalized, the inlet pressure has an impact on the outlet pressure. In order to ensure a very stable outlet pressure a first stage pressure reducer will keep the inlet pressure of the second stage within small margins. The stations are usually equipped with inlet and outlet valves, bypass valve, safety valve, pressure gauges, filter and dome pressure reducer.
