Automatic Filters
Automatic self-cleaning filters are ideally suited for the reliable and uninterrupted filtration of water and low-viscosity fluids. Our automatic filters guarantee a high availability and trouble-free operation of industrial plants and maritime applications. Simultaneously, our filters allow for less maintenance, and longer intervals between each service, therefore reducing operating costs and avoiding unplanned maintenance/production shutdowns. No matter the application – whether filtering particles from seawater, process water or cooling water, our automatic filters are designed to meet the particular requirements of the specific customer!

Single Filters
The SAB product portfolio covers Single filters for almost every application. With our wide range of products, we are able to filter liquids and gases. From cast, Single filters (in stock) for water applications, we have the solution. The welded filters are certified with TÜV or any other third party approval for highly aggressive fluids. Furthermore, our product portfolio also covers special bronze-alloy navy filters. Our strengths include application-specific and customized solutions for nearly all of the applications!

Duplex Filters
The changeover valve allows Duplex filters continuous operation even during the cleaning phase. Duplex filters are primarily used in applications where service shutdowns are not practical or they are uneconomical. The SAB product portfolio covers Duplex filters for almost every application! With our wide range of products, we are able to filter liquids and gases. From cast Duplex filters (in stock) for water applications, to welded filters certified with TÜV or any other third party approval for highly aggressive fluids.

Navy Filters
SAB, for 85 years, has been a reliable supplier for filters used in submarines and surfaces vessels. The range of our filter products supplied to different navies includes bag strainers, simplex filters, duplex filters and even automatic self cleaning filters. Our filters protect many different seawater, fuel and fuel oil systems.

Strainer Inserts and Accessories
Georg Schünemann offers a broad range of spare parts and accessories for all filter types. Many components are available from stock. Beside the standard strainer types, Georg Schünemann also designs and manufactures customized strainers according to customer requirements. We keep many perforated plates, stainless steel meshes and slot wedge wire pipes in different sizes and grades of filtration on stock. This ensures a flexible and short delivery time.

Custom Design
One of our key strengths is to design custom-made products. Based on decades of experience Georg Schünemann creates unique solutions in order to match the specific requirements of the individual applications. The close collaboration with our customers and third party inspectors, like the TÜV and German Lloyd, assures that even the highest safety standards are met including all relevant inspections and regulations.
