Open Loop systems utilize the natural alkalinity of the sea-water to neutralize the exhaust gas Sulphur content. The sea-water is collected from the ocean and delivered to the scrubber. The water is then collected, analyzed and discharged. The SAB filter efficiently removes organic and inorganic particles upstream of the scrubbe.
